VoochR is published by M&M, a French micro-enterprise. M&M is the controller for the processing described below.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
M&M, a French micro-enterprise and the publisher of VoochR, determines how and why personal data is processed for the Services. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@voochr.com.
2. Data we process
- Account and sign-in data: your name, email address, account identifier and the information needed to authenticate you when you sign in.
- Personalisation and creator verification data: creators, channels or brands you follow, favourites and preferences. If you choose to grant read-only YouTube access, VoochR uses the information needed to find creators you follow or to compare the ID of a channel you own with the creator page you claim. The OAuth access token used for that verification is not retained. If automatic verification is not possible, you may publish a temporary proof code in the channel description for manual review. VoochR cannot publish, edit or delete your content or change your subscriptions.
- Service activity: searches, views and interactions with offers, along with general relevance information such as language or regions associated with followed creators.
- Operation and security data: technical or session identifiers, notification preferences, a notification token if you enable notifications, creator-page claim and administrator-invitation records, security logs and error diagnostics.
- Chrome extension data: the extension determines the domain of the site you open so it can look for a matching offer. The current domain is stored locally for the extension to work and may be sent to VoochR for that lookup. The full page address and page content are not sent to VoochR, and VoochR does not build a centralised history of pages you visit.
Where this data comes from
Data comes from information you provide, your use of the Services and, when you choose to connect one, the third-party service concerned. Offer information may also come from creators, merchants or sources they make public.
Required and optional information
Sign-in data is required only for features that need an account. Read-only YouTube access, public proof and notifications are optional. Refusing YouTube access does not block a claim: the public-proof and manual-review path remains available. If you do not enable notifications, invitation alerts remain visible in your VoochR profile. The Chrome extension needs the current domain to look for an offer on the site you open.
3. Why we use data and our legal bases
- To provide the Services, manage your account, creator-page access and administrator team, display available offers and deliver the personalisation you request, based on performance of our agreement with you.
- To protect the Services, prevent abuse, fix errors, measure use and improve the offers shown, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving VoochR.
- To access read-only information from a connected service or send notifications when your permission is required, based on consent that you can withdraw at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and valid requests from competent authorities.
Personalisation may use your preferences, followed creators and general relevance information to select or order offers. It does not make a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.
4. Who receives data?
Access is limited to authorised people at M&M and providers needed for authentication, hosting, notifications, security and diagnostics. Those providers act under instructions and confidentiality obligations. Aggregated statistics that do not identify users may be shared with parties connected to an offer.
VoochR does not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own advertising.
VoochR’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on a recognised adequacy decision or safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
6. How long data is kept
Account and personalisation data is kept while you use the account and then only as long as needed to handle a request, protect the Services or meet legal obligations. Activity and diagnostic data is retained for a period proportionate to measurement, abuse prevention and incident resolution, then deleted or anonymised. Statistics that have become anonymous are no longer personal data.
In the Chrome extension, the current domain is replaced as you browse and can be cleared by removing the extension or its data. Session information is cleared at the end of the browser session.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your situation, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing and receive portable data. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was already lawful.
To exercise a right, email contact@voochr.com and describe your request. We may ask only for the information needed to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to limit unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No digital service can provide absolute security, so these measures are reviewed as the Services evolve.
9. Children
The Services are not intended for anyone under 15. If you believe a child has provided data without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can review the situation.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Services or applicable rules change. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will provide appropriate notice of a material change.
